This week the P7s investigated the science behind the perfect cookie. We made a batch of normal cookies and then made three different batches each with ONE ingredient changed as our variable. The different batches we made were;
*Butterscotch (brown sugar instead of white)
*Chewy (bread flour instead of plain flour)
*Crunchy outside soft inside (more baking powder and soda)
We then thought about how would judge the cookies and made up criteria to mark them against. It was like being on Masterchef! The winning cookie (after all that) was in fact the normal recipe……deeeeelicious!
