P2 have been busy with all things Scottish this week. We met up with our buddies from P6 to support each other designing tartan. We had a food tasting morning where we tried haggis, needs and tatties, followed by shortbread and Irn Bru. “Scrumptious” and “delicious” were just some of the comments!
We have also been learning how to speak Doric and Scots. We named body parts, learned greetings and held conversations!
We listened to Scottish stories and sang some Scottish songs. We took part in a Scottish Assembly where we taught everyone the actions to Three Craws as well as sharing our work on Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
Thanks to Sheena from the Reading Bus for helping us out with learning Scots words.
Fit a bra’ wik!!
