We are delighted to have been awarded a Silver PSQM. Well done to all involved – particularly Miss Reid our Science Leader. We are committed to promoting science throughout the school from Nursery to Primary 7.
‘Welcome back and congratulations on your PSQM silver award. You have clearly continued to work very hard since your bronze award and should feel very proud of all you have achieved. I am sure that you will find your reviewer’s feedback useful as you continue to develop science at Woodside. Well done.

The Community Council elections take place this year. There has never been a better time to get involved with your local Community. If you have an interest in the safety, wellbeing and appearance of the area in which you live then joining your community council may be for you. If you have a few hours to spare or lots of spare time you would be able to make help make a difference in your local area.
Community Councils are made up of volunteers who are elected from within their area to represent the views of their local community. They are set up by Statute and are consultees for Planning and Licensing. They can also present the views of the community to the local authority and other organisations.
There is an information session on Monday 31 August in Committee Room of the Town House for people to come along and find out more about the role of a community councillor. If you are interested then please contact Karen on 01224 522723 or email email@example.com
