To celebrate World Book Day, we set all the classes a challenge. Every class had to choose their favourite book and transform their classroom door into the book cover. Classes have worked very hard, over the last few weeks, designing and creating their doors. We think they look amazing, what do you think? We would love to read your comments.
Room 15 were being creative by making amazing triaramas. We were learning the skill of visualisation by constructing a 3D image based on a scene in our reading books. We all had different ideas on how to bring out triaramas to life.
P6B (Room 15) and P5/6M (Room 18) were working effectively together in mixed groups during Circle Time. We have been focusing on being kind and helpful in the classroom and the playground. We brainstormed our ideas and created mind map graffiti boards. We also presented our scenarios through drama to the whole group.
Mr McKenzie and Miss Blackman were extremely impressed with the boys and girls hard work and group effort. The learners demonstrated their ability to work as effective contributors.
