Our door designs
To celebrate World Book Day, we set all the classes a challenge. Every class had to choose their favourite book and transform their classroom door into the book cover. Classes have worked very hard, over the last few weeks, designing and creating their doors. We think they look amazing, what do you think? We would love to read your comments.

P4-7 Reading Workshop
On Friday we had a very successful Reading Workshop. Parents were invited into school to learn more about how we teach reading in Primaries 4-7. The parents were given an overview of the work we do in classes and were able to watch a video showing a P5 class reading with their teacher.
The workshop finished with a practical session, where children from each primary came into the hall to show the parents what they do in class and invite the parents to take part in the lesson. It was wonderful to hear so much great discussion between the parents and the children.
All the handouts, videos and information from the workshop have now been loaded onto the website for those parents who were unable to attend the session.

Dragons Den
DRAGONS DEN
Hi our names are Jack and Kenzie.
This term our topic is called Dragons Den .Room 15 and Room18 joined together to make Christmas products. We had to pitch our products to Audrey from Tesco and Mrs Page. They had to decide which product won. They decided that the Keep It Cool Sock Snowmen were the winners which means all groups get to make snowmen. They were fun to make but We think Mr McKenzie had to hoover up all the rice from the classroom floor. It was everywhere.
We sold our Snowmen at the Christmas fair and sold out. So far we have made a great profit of £160
We are also are selling our product at Tesco Danestone
for £2 on Saturday the 10th of December!
We we hope to use the money for an adventure day for both classes to enjoy!
